Afternoon all – I have provisionally booked two days boat diving with MarineQuest out of Eyemouth Harbour on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June 2022, along with their accommodation, The Habourside. Accommodation will be for the Friday and Saturday night on a B&B basis.
If we are able to muster 12 divers, we will have the boat to ourselves and the accommodation based on six twin rooms, instead of 3×2 and 3×3 as shown on their website.
The cost would be £212.50 for the weekend. Not included will be travel, air fills, lunch and evening meal.
The tides should allow for an afternoon shore dive from Greenends Gully on the Saturday for those who are interested.
I am after expressions of interest at this stage before I confirm with Marine Quest. If we are unable to fill the boat, the trip will be opened up to other clubs after four weeks so get in quick!!
This trip is open to all qualified divers.
Any questions, please ask.
This policy is designed to ensure that trips remain financially viable and is fair for all members/guests going on trips arranged by the club. Late cancellation means that extra money has to be paid by others on the trip which is unfair
- In order to secure a place on a trip a deposit must be paid to the Treasurer. If for any reason a person subsequently cannot go on the trip, then the deposit is not refundable unless the place can be filled by someone else.
- The final balance must be paid to the treasurer six (6) weeks before the date of the trip. If the final balance is not paid at least four (4) weeks before the date of the trip then the deposit and place on the trip is forfeit. If the place is subsequently filled then the deposit is refunded
- If a person does not go on the trip having already paid for that trip then all monies paid are forfeited, unless, in the unlikely event that the place can be filled at the last minute.
