I have arranged a visit to Hull’s hyperbaric chamber for the evening of
Wednesday the 26th October.
The visit consists of a lecture about the work of the hyperbaric chamber
network followed by a "dry dive" in the their on site hyperbaric chamber.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about the work of hyperbaric
chambers and experience the interior of one is a stress free environment.
The dry dive can be logged as a dive (bring your computers if you wish) and
as such everyone needs to be "dive fit" to attend.
We need to meet at the hyperbaric chamber which is within Spire Hull and
East Riding Hospital just outside Hull for 18:45 and the visit should be
complete by 21:00. (After which those who wish to can go for fish and chips
and a pint before home!)
The cost of the trip is £25 each and all of this money goes towards the
Witherensea Life Boat.
There are a maximum of 8 places due to the capacity of the chamber. Could
anyone who would like to come please let me know and pay their £25 to
When I have numbers we can arrange lift shares etc.
