I’m arranging a long weekend dive trip to the Isle of Man for next year.
The diving there is reported as being some of the finest wreck, scenic, and
drift diving in the UK with visibility unrivalled. In addition to abundant
marine life and large colourful walls there is also the chance of seeing
seals, porpoises, dolphins, whales and the occasional orca. Isle of Man is
also a beautiful location with with an extensive coastline, stunning
natural landscapes and unspoilt beaches which should all make fo a great
The dive trip is open to all grades of divers as the majority of sealife is
within Ocean Diver range and so are a couple of the wrecks. The diving is
from a hardboat equipped with diver lift and toilet.
The package is for 4 days diving (8 dives) and includes self
catering accomodation for 4 nights. Tanks and weights are also included in
The dates are 21st to 25th September 2017. The plan is to take a ferry on
Thursday (21st) evening to the Isle of Man. Diving
Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday and returning Monday evening via the ferry.
– £320 per person for diving and accomodation (to keep costs fixed we need
a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 10 divers)
– Ferry crossing approximately £35 per person each way
– Money for air fills, food and beer
Deposits will be £75 and payable to the BSAC account/Trevor.
